The present work consists of eight framed double-sided sketches made by Piper in preparation for the illustrations for the King Penguin book Romney Marsh. Sold together with the original first sketchbook from which the drawings originated and with a first edition copy of Romney Marsh signed by the Artist on the frontispiece, with a green slipcase.
