Astrid was wonderful to work with.She was known for her incredible influence on the look of the early Beatles, basically the “unknown” Beatles when she met them when they were playing dingy clubs in Hamburg in 1960.
She shot them in cool leather jackets against industrial Hamburg and helped them form their distinctive image.
