signed Höch and dated 1924-27 (lower right); signed Höch, titled, inscribed Die 3 Hände sind zusammengesetzt: 1924. Dazu komponiert die Spirale: 1927 and stamped with the artist's estate stamp on the verso

According to the artist's inscription on the reverse, the three hands were put together in 1924. It was put composed with the spiral (balustrade) in 1927.
