Rolex introduced the DateJust 16014 in 1977 and remained in production until 1988. The watch incorporated the Rolex caliber 3035 movement, which was the first DateJust movement to have featured the quick date change. The movement also, for the first time, had a hacking feature, which stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out the adjust the time.
