The Constant Escapement L.M. gains its name from two of the greatest people from Girard-Perregaux - the founder of the manufacturer, Constant Girard-Perregaux and the development leader of the movement, Luigi Macaluso. Extremely delicate and complex, the most interesting part of the movement lies on its constant force escapement, a beautiful butterfly shaped device which ensures a constant power is delivered from the main spring to the balance wheel. Upon activation, the movement regulates in a phenomenal beat, showcasing the rhythm of the manufacturer's masterful watchmaking precision. The present watch is a magnificent horological marvel and was proudly awarded the Timezone watch of the year and the GPHG in 2013.
