First introduced in 1994, the Lange 1 is the most recognizable watch ever created by A. Lange & Söhne and became an instant classic among collectors. The dial is designed with the golden ratio in mind, laying out the big date, power reserve and time only indications in an asymmetrical, yet very aesthetically pleasing configuration. After two decades the Lange 1 remains virtually unchanged since its introduction, with very few watches being able to gain an iconic status in such a short period of time.
