Not only does the present reference 116528 carries an immense presence on the wrist, it represents a major step forward in the history of the Rolex Daytona. Introduced in the very early 2000s, the caliber 4130 is the first in-house chronograph movement by Rolex, replacing the Zenith caliber 4030. Approximately 6 years of development resulted in a more efficient movement with less components than the predecessor, along with better temperature and magnetic resistance. The present watch is fitted with a clean white dial, crafted in a timeless sheen of yellow gold. Most note worthy is the brushed polishing commissioned by the original owner of the watch, from the case along the bracelet and clasp, giving the watch a special touch resulting in an magnificent atmosphere.
