Presented at the Baselworld fair in 2011, Patek Philippe’s Reference 5208P is a further evolution of the brand’s Reference 5207. Like its predecessor, the 5208P features a perpetual calendar with minute repeater and moon phase complications but is now self-winding and implements a monopusher chronograph instead of a tourbillon. The day and night indicator also keeps its place as an important element.
This rare timepiece is crafted from platinum and heighted with striking anthracite dial, oversized calendar apertures and applied baton indexes. Its caliber R CH 27 PS QI can be admired beneath a sapphire crystal display back, with the new addition of a beautifully engine-turned 18K pink gold micro-rotor.
The reference 5208 is a holy grail of modern wristwatches, and represents the apex of Patek Philippe's technical creations. Offered factory single-sealed, the watch is accompanied with a complete set of accessories.
