Reference 6264, like its sister Reference 6262, was available for approximately just over two years. Both models were the last Daytona’s to be produced with ‘pump’ chronograph pusher, but they did feature the newer, uprated Cal 727 movement with an increased vibrations per hour rate of 21,6000 from 18,000. The sole distinguishing feature between the two watches is the acrylic bezel found on the 6264 whereas the 6262 wore a steel bezel. During its short production period, it is believed that less than 1,700 examples of a 6264 in stainless steel were ever made.
The current example presents in excellent condition, with a clean dial and strong case proportions.
