The Limited Edition of 200 Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase Lumen Reference 139.035F were announced at SIHH in 2016. Cased exclusively in platinum, the watch features a smoked sapphire crystal dial that allows for the partial visibility of the hand-finished movement underneath. The date disks, moon phase and dial markers have been coated with a strong luminous compound giving the watch a unique look when under lamination (the moon phase disk contains 1164 illuminated stars). The smoked semi-transparent sapphire dial has a special coating that blocks most visible light from the outside but allows this lume to shine through from underneath. In contrast, main time dial and running seconds remain solid black, meaning there is no loss of legibility.
The current watch is in excellent condition and is accompanied by its presentation box with outer packaging, International Guarantee book dated February 15, 2017, instructions manual and leather bi-fold.
