Produced between 1962 and 1970, the reference 3466 is unusual in that it was only ever produced in stainless steel, with no precious metal variants being made. The reference is an appealing combination to today's collector, combining steel case with caliber 27 460 automatic winding movement with screw-down case back, ensuring the watch is waterproof. The dials, made by Stern Freres were silvered opaline satin finished with engraved hard enamel signature, applied gold baton markers, and pearled minute scale. It is thought that circa 1000 examples of the reference 3466 were produced over its 8 years production, with around 50 examples coming back to the market since.
