In 1936, Cartier released the original "Parallelogram" wristwatch. With a slanted case design and a silvered dial with clear bold Arabic numerals, it was designed as a driver's watch, legible white your hands were holding the steering wheel. In 1996, Cartier released a limited edition "Parallelogram", based on the 1936 original, this time called the ‘Asymétrique’ with reference 2488, 100 pieces cased in Platinum and 300 in yellow gold.
The present example is cased in yellow gold and is numbered 143/300. It is presented in very good condition and is accompanied by its Cartier presentation box and Certificate of Origin.
