The present watch is highly charismatic and extremely well preserved. It features a remarkable MK2 tropical dial. This dial has uniformly aged into a chocolate brown colour throughout. The characteristic of a MK2 is the small oval at the bottom of the Coronet and the 'D' in 'Dweller' is aligned with 'I' in 'Submariner'. The case is furthermore known as the 'thin' MK2 case and has very nice proportions and beveled edges. In addition to the remarkable condition and tropical dial of this diver’s watch, the watch is furthermore completed by an assortment of original accessories that not only include its punched Garantie and service paperwork, but unusually, the watch still retains with its hand written receipt when the watch was purchased for 159 USD in 1972.
