A small yellow-glazed bowl
Mark and period of Jiajing
明嘉靖 嬌黃釉盌 《大明嘉靖年製》款
with deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently flaring rim, covered overall with a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze, the base with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue
Diameter 9 cm, 3½ in.
Presumably F. E. Wilkinson, 13th October 1913.
