the slightly convex walls resting on a narrow straight foot and rising to a lipped rim, surmounted by a flat domed cover, all under a lustrous ebony glaze striated with silvery tones in some areas and thinning to dark brown at the edges, the interior similarly glazed, the recessed base unglazed to reveal the buff colored body (2)
