A magnificent sancai-glazed pottery figure of a horse
Tang dynasty
唐 三彩馬
rendered standing foursquare, its head and pricked ears turned slightly to the left, the body applied with a rich chestnut glazetrickling over the hooves on an unglazed base, further depicted with a green saddle and harness applied with floral motifs
