Ming dynasty, fourth year of the Longqing period, corresponding to 1570 AD

明隆慶四年（1570年） 漆金銅文殊觀音菩薩

seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base supported by a lion, with the right hand raised, wearing long, flowing robes open at the chest to reveal a jewelled necklace, the face with a serene expression, the back of the base inscribed with a dedicatory inscription, dated to the fourth year of the Longqing period (1570 AD)
