Appears to retain its original stamped brass hardware

William Hyslop Abercrombie (1851-1940), Deerfield, Massachusetts.
While quite functional, rarely are Federal games tables made with drawers. This particular example is notable for is larger size. A related table with drawer is in the collection of Historic Deerfield (see Dean A. Fales, Jr., The Furniture of Historic Deerfield, (New York, E.P. Dutton and Company, Inc., 1976), p. 140, fig. 290).
