Leslie Combo Preamp II Footswitch for Rotating Speaker, ca. 1965

Some time in the 1960s, the team at Leslie determined that the growing rock scene was an untapped market for the unique sound of their rotating speaker. This stompbox allowed guitarists to make use of Leslie models 760, 770 and 825. 

On the West Coast, Jefferson Airplane and the Quicksilver Messenger Service were big fans of the guitar with a Leslie sound.
