Description

Property of Bob Weir

Made for Jerry Garcia

Modulus, 1993, Blackknife model guitar, serial number 931142, made in the USA. Features graphite neck through body construction, body made of maple and cocobolo, brass fixed bridge, one single coil and two humbucker Dimarzio pickups. Includes original hard shell case.

With a plaque affixed with “We shall not cease from exploration / and the end of all our exploring / Will be to arrive where we started / And know the place for the first time”

The quotation is taken from T.S. Eliot's "Little Gidding," the fourth and final movement of the poet's masterpiece, Four Quartets. Eliot's verse is, in many ways, an exploration of time, perspective, and humanity—what could be more in line with the ethos of the Dead?

Like new condition.
