Recorked at the Château in 2020. New capsules, labels and corks. Gold print is slightly faded on labels

Slightly subdued nose - almost crushed by the heat of the year. Amazing spiciness of 1947 on the palate. So sweet at the end. One often wonders if the 1947s have residual sugar - I suspect they have. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
