Last tasted from Methuselah in 2010. An extraordinary bouquet of coffee beans and lime. There is an incredible ginger richness to this wine, perfectly balanced by peaches and greengages and delicate acidity. Pure perfection and, without doubt, in the pantheon of my greatest white Burgundies, especially in this formidable format. Last drunk in bottle in 2011. Simply splendid, with enormous charm and allure plus a fabulous nutty nougat character. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

All wines purchased from 1990 to the early 2000s, from one wine merchant who is also a longtime friend of the consignor

Stored in a private temperature-controlled cellar in Japan, prior to a dedicated shipment to Hong Kong before the sale
