Double signed pieces have gained important recognition in the last few years. Among the retailers, the most prestigious is undoubtedly Tiffany & Co. Famous for its relationship with Patek Philippe, Tiffany & Co also retailed some Rolex watches. Pieces with this double signature make up some of the most sought after watches in today's market. Few of these rare pieces come with complete provenance or original paperwork confirming the purchase at Tiffany & Co. The present watch, however, comes with both.

It is offered on behalf of its original owner who purchased the piece at Tiffany, as confirmed by the signature on the original Guarantee. Finding a fresh to the market and documented example is a most exciting opportunity for a collector looking to acquire a very special piece in the greatest confidence.

Furthermore, this Rolex Submariner 16613 has been preserved in wonderful condition. The case retained strong proportions and clearly defined bevels, the back remaining protected by its original branded stickering. The dial also impresses by its superb condition.

The Reference 16613 was launched in 1988 as a successor of the 16803. The watch was part of the Rolex catalogue for about 20 years, available in two colour configurations for the dial and the bezel: blue or black, like the present example.

The present watch can truly be described as ticking every box for any discerning collector looking to make a new addition.
