The Patek Philippe 2531 is known as the large Chinese, referring to its bezel with two large horizontal "bandeaux" similarly to the Cartier Tank Chinoise. This reference was produced for a few years only from the mid to the end of the 1950's. It is a rare piece with only 8 examples pink gold examples known to the market.
This piece was sold to the French market as the famous "Fab Suisse" stamped on the buckle demonstrates it.
