Of openwork design, set throughout with old mine-cut and rose-cut diamonds.

  • Diamonds weighing a total of approximately 9.30 carats
  • Length 7¼ inches
  • Silver-topped 14 karat gold
  • Mid-19th century
  • Bracelet detaches from central element for wear as a brooch or pendant
  • Accompanied by a fitted box

In good condition, especially considering the age of the piece, the mounting with scuffs, scratches, and discoloration, commensurate with age and wear. Gold tests as 14 karat. Diamond weight stated in catalogue description approximated using measurements. The diamonds are approximately H-J color with a few K-M color examples, VS-SI clarity with a few I clarity examples, as is typical of diamonds from this period. Width at the widest point approximately 1¼ inches. Gross weight approximately 21 dwts. Bracelet straps detach so central element can be worn as a brooch or pendant. Also fitted with hooks where a safety chain could be added. Clasps close securely.
