Two woodblock prints

Edo period, 19th century


Each a woodblock print, from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido (Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi), signed Hiroshige ga, published by Takenouchi Magohachi (Hoeido), circa 1833-34, and comprising: 

- Kameyama: Clear Weather after Snow (Kameyama, yukibare)

- Shimada: The Suruga Bank of the Oi River (Shimada, Oigawa sungan)


Each horizontal oban:

36.5 x 24 cm., 14⅜ x 9½ in. (the first)

21.5 x 33 cm., 8½ x 13 in. (the second)
