A pair of large silver four-light candelabra in Egyptian taste, partly by Paul Storr, London, 1815 and later

Each on three lion’s legs divided by Medusa masks, the crested vase-shaped stems rising from acanthus to anthemia bands below three addorsed Egyptian female heads with plaited hair, detachable scrolled branches of acanthus and anthemia, sconces similarly banded, fluted detachable nozzles, one lower base, three branches, two sconces, one central plume and three nozzles by Paul Storr, London, 1815, one stem probably Storr (early 19th century crest) but unmarked; the remainder 20TH century, some unmarked, some with imitation marks
