gobelet Hébert et soucoupe, of the first size, richly painted with gilt-edged cartouches of trophies of flowers, arms and gardening tools emblematic of Love, reserved on a gilt-seeded-ground enriched with radiating trellis bands of puce-flowers, reserving black and blue-harebell rosettes, the rims with blue harebells on a gilt striated band, interlaced LL marks in blue containing date letter O for 1767, painter's mark S above for Pierre-Antoine Méreaud l’aîné, the cup with incised F, the saucer with incised 5 (or S)-10
