The artwork is by Toshinao Aoki, one of the earliest illustrators for the Pokémon Franchise. His most iconic artwork is the Flying Pikachu. The card was distributed by All Nippon Airlines between June 1 and July 31, 1999. The artwork features a Flying Pikachu with an ANA aeroplane to its' right. The card was distributed to ANA passengers flying in conjunction with the "Everyone's Happy Campaign" who could redeem two domestic boarding pass stubs for a Flying Pikachu. Stubs were required to be affixed to special postcards and mailed to Media Factory. The postcards could be obtained from airport counters or the ANA branch office.

卡牌圖畫由精靈寶可夢其中一位早期畫師青木俊直繪製，「飛行比卡超」是他的經典作品。這張卡牌由全日空航空公司在1999年6月1日至7月31日期間向乘客派發，畫中的比卡超正在天際翱翔，右邊是一架全日空航機。當年，透過「Everyone's Happy Campaign」飛行計劃出發的乘客可從機場櫃檯或全日空辦事處領取特別版明信片，然後將兩張國內機票票尾固定在明信片上，寄給Media Factory出版社，換取一張「飛行比卡超」卡牌。
