12 volumes, 8vo (229 x 135 mm). Titles to each volume; scattered minor spotting, signature neatly clipped from vol. III title, titles of vols. VII & IX remargined, a few chips and closed tears. Modern black morocco-backed tan cloth.  


Henry Wheaton was an American jurist and authority on international law, who also served successfully in diplomatic posts in Denmark and Germany. Wheaton is regarded as one of the greatest of American legal writers.
