8vo (240 x 152 mm, uncut). Heavily stained throughout, a few small paper flaws costing a word or two, terminal leaves particularly worn. Stab-sewn in self-wrappers;with losses to rear wrapper. 


An analysis issued between the South Carolina state constitution of 1790 and the constitution of 1865, which was adopted at the end of the Civil War to recognize the abolition of slavery.
