Stapled booklet (150 x 88 mm). Marginal pencil annotation, faint marginal dampstaining. Original cream wrappers printed in black; dampstaining, old folds, edges a bit rounded. 


The NAACP Constitution for 1946.


The first constitution of the NAACP was drafted in 1911 by Albert Pillsbury, who was deeply involved in the advancement of civil rights. As the aims of the NAACP grew, its constitution was regularly edited and updated to reflect changes within the organization.
