3 volumes, 8vo (206 x 120 mm). Scattered spotting throughout, title-page of vol. 1 extended, dampstaining and browning to vol. 2. Three sympathetic variants of contemporary calf, title labels to spines, ruled and stamped in black and gilt; rubbed and worn, joints weak, just holding on volume 3 with losses to spine. Housed in a cloth slipcase. 


"Probably the rarest and best account of the trial" (Eberstadt). Complete in three volumes and scarce as such.
