Queen Victoria


A collection, comprising:


i) Queen Victoria, autograph letter, in the third person, to Field Marshal Viscount Gough, on the death of his wife, on mourning stationery, Windsor Castle, 4 pages, 8vo, 23 March 1863, [with:] two envelopes and additional carte de visite of Gough; 


ii) Queen Victoria, autograph letter, in the third person, enquiring "why the telephone to Frogmore has been removed from that place it always has been", on mourning stationery, Windsor Castle,1 page, 8vo, 11 July 1888;


iii) Queen Victoria, printed Coronation ticket, 28 June 1838;


iv) Programme for an evening concert at Buckingham Palace, with royal crest embossed, 25 June 1891;


v) Seven carte de visite photographs in an album page (double-sided), including Princess Alice, daughter of Queen Victoria, with her husband and child, Princess Helena, daughter of Queen Victoria, Prince Leopold, son of Queen Victoria; 


vi) Carte de visite photograph of Prince Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, and Princess Alexandra, 1883, mounted with related ephemera including three stamps and commemorative medal in honour of the wedding of the two 


vii) European royalty, black and white photograph 170 by 230mm., mounted and dated 1902
