A Canton enamel 'lotus' bowl and cover Qing dynasty, 18th century | 清十八世紀 廣東銅胎畫琺瑯蓮瓣紋蓋盌 《春山秋水》款

A closely related enamel box and cover with similar lotus design now preserved in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, is illustrated in Enamel ware in the Ming and Ch'ing dynasties, Taipei, 1999, cat. no. 89. It bears a Kangxi reign mark, demonstrating it was one of the early successful creations of the enamel workshops.
