Persian manuscript on paper, 381 leaves plus 10 fly-leaves, 17 lines to the page, written in nasta'liq script in black ink, text arranged in two columns, with double red intercolumnar rules, additional text written diagonally, titles in larger red script, text panel ruled in gold and polychrome, catchwords, margins with blue rules, each section with an opening illuminated bifolium and scrolling floral gold marginal decoration, illuminated folia with text within clouds on reserved ground, floral and figurative motifs in gold on green and blue illuminated panels, in gilt and polychrome stamped leather binding
