Arabic manuscript on paper, 331 leaves plus 2 flyleaves, 11 lines to the page, written in neat naskh script in black ink, verses separated by gold roundels, surah headings in gold cursive script on polychrome and gold illuminated panels, margins ruled in colours and gold, opening double-page illuminated in colours and gold, illuminated marginal devices, final folio, later attribution ascribing the work to Zarin Qalam, morocco binding, with fore edge, lacking flap
