A Roman Marble Figure of a Man
circa 1st Century A.D.
perhaps a shepherd, standing with the weight on his left leg and the right hand on his chest, and wearing a long fleece mantle fastened on the right shoulder, draped around the hips, and falling in long vertical folds down the back, the right arm carved separately and now missing; no restorations.
Height 35 cm.
