A Canaanite Bronze Figure of a God

Middle Bronze Age II, circa 1900-1550 B.C.


probably a warrior deity, perhaps Baal or Reshef, standing with his fragmentary arms raised, lower legs missing, and wearing a short kilt with wide belt and tall headdress with feathers, his face with large hollowed-out eyes probably once inlaid, and prominent high-arched eyebrows.
