A South Arabian Bronze Head of a Bull

circa 1st Century B.C./2nd Century A.D.


with thick, overlapping dewlap folds, ribbed brows, recessed eyes with inlaid pupils, recessed disk and crescent on the forehead, tapering ornament above, and scalloped decoration on the remaining horn, an attachment ring on top of the head.

Height 15 cm.
