This Rouge H Hermès 40 Birkin bag is crafted in Fjord leather with gold toned hardware.

The bag features two sturdy rolled top handles, horizontal interlocking straps, turn lock closure and a signature padlock that opens with accompanying keys. The flap opens to a matching Rouge H chevre lining with one Hermès engraved zipper pull and one slip pocket on the opposite side.

The Birkin bag of Hermès is the first one it bag bearing the name of a celebrity and which is created by the same personality. Created at the random of one meeting of Jane Birkin and Jean Louis Dumas during one flight in 1984. She dropped her Hermes diary and papers spilled everywhere.
