A jewelled lapis lazuli frame inset with a medallion of St Christopher, probably French, early 20th century
of arched form, applied with a gold-mounted ruby cabochon to each corner, the gilt-metal reverse inscribed CARTIER and numbered 0455; and an oval carved rock crystal intaglio pendant of the Madonna and Child, in a rose gold openwork frame with fleur-de-lys suspension loop
the frame 6cm., 2⅜in. high; the pendant 6.4cm., 2½in. high
