Richard Edelman is a world-renowned sculptor specializing in metal, stainless steel and bronze sculptures. His degree in Engineering and Philosophy from MIT as well as his 30-year international career in the steel industry afforded him countless inspirations for creative construction. His major sculptural installations are in Milwaukee, Poland, and Israel. His work is also in private collections in Aspen, Palm Beach, and New York. In 2016 he was the recipient of the Frank L. Weil Award from Global JCC for the Advancement of Jewish Culture in North America, previous recipients of which include Elie Wiesel and Leonard Bernstein. Edelman’s sculpture, "Little Dancer Aged 14" is a three foot model of his homage to the seminal sculpture of the same title by Edgar Degas.
