Albumen print from wet collodion negative, mounted to board. With the photographer's red facsimile signature stamp recto. With the 'PHOTOGRAPHIE GUSTAVE LE GRAY & Co PARIS' and the maker's blindstamps on board recto. Annotated 'No 11,706' in iron gall ink in the lower left corner and with a printed label bearing the title of the work affixed on the lower right corner of board recto.
