Description

Louis Roederer, Cristal Brut 2000

Good level and appearance

In 2011, lovely honey and spice bouquet. Cool lanolin and vanilla on the middle palate, with a touch of cloves. Rich, full, open and opulent. Soft and all-embracing, finishing on a note of lemon. This ticks all the boxes. In 2013, a glorious nose of hawthorn, orange peel and cloves. Lovely honied taste, so fresh and bouncy and yet with immense depth. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
