The 1970s have proven to be a tough period for the Swiss watchmaking industry as the quartz technology from Japan have threatened the traditional way of delivering timekeeping. The present watch is fitted with a beautifully crafted caliber 5055 that has proven to be a great success at the time, however it was only available until the early 2000s.
