Shortly after World War II, Rolex had produced a number of “Air” models and the Air King was released in 1945 for the British Royal Air Force and its pilots. Although throughout the 75 years the Air King collection remained fairly unchanged, it has continued to amass to great appeal to the general public for its simple monochromatic visual and sleek case shape.
