The present Calatrava style Vacheron Constantin epitomizes the brand's philosophy in its design approach and its mechanical capabilities. Dated from the 1960s, this yellow gold sub-seconds wristwatch features a large 36 mm case manufactured by none other than Spillmann SA (Hammer Head number 136). Its imaculately finished caliber P453 showcases traditional Côtes de Genève decoration and a Swan neck, reminiscent of the haydays of traditional Swiss watchmaking, while its simple yet elegant dial exemplifies the "less is more" philosophy
