This lot is a rare Cartier with an exciting cloisonné enamel dial depicting the head of a panda bear. Keeping with the black and white, one half of the bezel is decorated with black enamel and the other half with diamonds, thus the overall appearance is reminiscent of the yin and yang symbol, which stands for the Chinese philosophical concept of dualism. The watch is set with 167 diamonds weighing approximately 1.11 carats.
The series was limited to only 20 pieces and the present lot is number 11/20. Sold in 2006, it is further offered in great condition with original certificate and presentation case.
