The Rolex Daytona, reference 6262, was first released to the market in 1970 and featured a stainless steel bezel engraved with tachymetre scale as opposed to being printed on the dial like previous manual chronograph references. As a transitional model, the reference 6262 was only in production for only a year. The present example has often been serviced where the bezel, pushers and luminous dots have been upgraded during these servicing.
